About the plant and state support
Akbarys Protection LLP has invested in the construction of a plant to produce X-Scape and NH15-K emergency escape hoods as part of its strategy to develop domestic production for the oil and gas industry.
X-Scape is Akbarys Protection's proprietary development, created based on the global experience of PPE manufacturers, customer feedback, and practical application at industrial facilities.
The company is a participant in the state Business Roadmap program, using both its own investment and government support measures. The plant is located in Industrial Park No. 1 within the Astana – New City SEZ.
Technology and safety
The plant is equipped with specialized equipment for manufacturing respiratory personal protective equipment (RPE) designed for use at potentially hazardous facilities. The filtration capability of the systems used is patented and provides protection against a wide range of toxic gases, including hydrogen sulfide (H₂S).
